Tribal Labor Advisory Committee
The Tribal Labor Advisory Committee initiative ultimately aims to develop strategies to enhance Native American labor opportunities on state and federal highway projects, as well as all other labor projects, by offering training, job matching, placement and ongoing technical support. On the contractor side, the TLAC initiative looks to guide recruitment strategies, offer cultural sensitivity training, and develop incentives for hiring Native Americans.
